Well, this is really not a problem, especially if the system is imposed by the government. Besides, online learning has been here for quite sometime already and that means, even if you are not used to this, some colleges are already doing this and most of the courses that are available offline, are also available online.

Are you still worried? Well, the following tips might be of help:

  1. When you are in a classroom, your teacher will try his best to make you focus on him only while he is running the class. But in an online setting, he might not be able to do that as effectively since all he can see is your face. So, it will be up to you then to ensure that there are no distractions while you are in a class.
  2. There are different systems in an online learning system. There are times when you cannot choose the schedule and there are also times when you can. So, depending on your situation, you have to ensure that during the class, you are wide awake, and you can focus on the lessons.
  3. Participate actively. Just like when you must be quite active during oral recitation in the conventional system, you can still do the same thing online. Note that whatever inputs you have in your class, the teacher will give due credits. You might think that your teacher will just ignore your contributions, but that is not the case. As a matter of fact, oral recitations will matter a lot in your grades and in your standing in school.
  4. You might think that in an online class, you will be on your own. Nope, that is definitely not the case. You still have the same teachers and you can still raise questions if you have them. In fact, you can even contact them if there are things you want to clarify. You can give them a call using their number of you can also send them a message in their social network account.
  5. This is the best time for shy people to shine. You don’t need to curl your hands every time the teacher will ask something as you are ashamed to talk in front of your classmates. Well now, you can’t see them as you are alone in your room. You won’t hear their comments as well as most of the time, only those who will be given a chance to talk will be unmuted in an online class setting.
